Sheriff David I. Harrow     

     David I. Harrow is the son of Lu Harrow and the late Richard Harrow. He graduated in 1972 from Defiance High School. While in High School he won the 1971 Ohio State AAA State High School Wrestling Championship, in the Heavy Weight Class and placed 5th in the State in 1972. He was an Honors Graduate from Owens Technical College in Perrysburg, Ohio, in 1975, with an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement Technology.
   He started his law enforcement career as a Paulding County Deputy Sheriff, in July of 1975. He also served as a Defiance City Police Officer and Paulding Village Police Officer.
  He is married to the former Diane Condon. He is currently serving his fourth consecutive term. When not involved in law enforcement, he spends his free time fishing.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Paulding County Sheriff's Office is to provide respectful service for the safety and welfare of person and property located in Paulding County. This will be accomplished by professional and ethical enforcement of all laws, coordination of emergency and non-emergency response to those in need, and by providing proper care for those persons housed in the Paulding County Jail.
